Stop At: Masaya Volcano National Park, Masaya Nicaragua

Masaya Volcano National Park is an active volcano. We first stop at its museum to learn about natives´ traditions at the volcano, vulcanology of Nicaragua and local flora and fauna of the National Park. Then, in-vehicle, we ascend to the summit where we see the crater with its lava river. Here close to the crater, we stay only 5 minutes.

Stop At: Masaya Crafts Market, Antiguo Mercado de Masaya, Masaya Nicaragua

We visit the Masaya Market where we meet the locals. Here, we appreciate the local products and handicrafts made of leather, wood, and cotton. Nicaraguan´s creativity will delight you.

Stop At: Catarina, Catarina, Masaya Department

We stop at the Viewpoint of Catarina with an impressive panoramic view over the crater lagoon of Apoyo. Interact with locals selling hand-made products and traditional food.

Later, we visit an artisans town named "San Juan de Oriente". Here we take a pottery tour where artisans explain how the art has been passed from generation to generation. Later, access to their stores to acquire beautiful work of art pieces at local prices.
