Description:

Day One: Meet your Tour Leader in Onomichi or Hiroshima  
After meeting you tour leader, you will check in to a beautiful hotel with a scenic view of the Onomichi channel and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. Then enjoy an evening of exploring the city. Our bilingual guide can help you explore this colorful town, so be sure to have lots of memory in your camera!  
Activities: Enjoy strolling through downtown Onomichi. Onomichi is one of Japan’s richest historical areas. There is a designated walking route in the downtown area called the Temple Walk.

Day Two: Onomichi to Imabari - 75km  
Wake up to a delicious breakfast at the hotel, then we’ll get ready to ride. The Setouchi Shimanami Kaido Expressway is a 60 kilometer long highway that links the islands of the Seto Inland Sea with nine individual bridges. Cruise the island path and feel refreshed by the cool sea breeze.  You will discover many amazing natural, historical and cultural sites along your journey. Lunch will be at a delightful seafood restaurant with an amazing ocean view. Elevation gains are modest on this ride making it a refreshing 75km journey.

Day Three: Imabari to Kure -30km, then onto Hiroshima famous World Heritage Sights
After breakfast, we will jump off to the starting island of Tobishima Kaido by ferry. Tobishima-Kaido is a most beautiful cycling route covering 7 islands in the Seto Inland Sea. Here you will see the real, untarnished natural beauty of Japan. With almost no traffic this is an ideal bike route. After arriving in Kure, we will move onto Hiroshima and your tour of Hiroshima’s famous World Heritage Sites will begin. You will have the opportunity to visit Hiroshima's Peace Memorial Park, Hiroshima Castle, and the astounding Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima. You will enjoy world renowned Hiroshima style gourmet. A brisk ride and a great chance to see many of Japan’s most famous sights, highlighted by a wonderful meal.
