Visit and explore for 10-hours all of the places where the hit series 'Outlander' was filmed in historic Scotland! Spend the entire day visiting five fantastic sites with your guide following the steps of Jamie and Claire.  Places visited will include Doune Castle (Castle Leoch), Claire's herb garden in Culross, Hopetoun House (Sandringham Estate), Linlithgow Palace (Wentworth Prison) and the headquarters of Black Jack Randall, Blackness Castle.

Description:

After check in at 8:10am, the tour leaves Edinburgh promptly at 8:20am.

On the journey north, you view the Kelpies, Stirling Castle and Wallace Monument from the coach before a stop at Doune Castle.  Known as Castle Leoch in the series, it is the home of Colum McKenzie and his clan in the 18th century but Claire and Frank visit this castle's ruins in a 20th century episode as well.

The next stop is one of the highlights of the tour - Claire's herb garden in the Palace of Culross.  The tour guide regales you with Outlander memories and information on the way to Hopetoun House, the Duke of Sandringham's estate.  Next visit Linlithgow Palace, birth place of Mary, Queen of Scots.  The cellars here are used as the backdrop for Wentworth Prison.

Final stop of the day is the headquarters of Black Jack Randall or Blackness Castle.  Spend time here exploring the ancient ruins and enjoying the views over the estuary.  Before returning you back to Edinburgh around 6:30pm after a day filled with 'Outlander' locations and memories.

Please note that there are separate entrance fees to pay for each location visited (approximately £38 per adult and £20 per child).  Due to seasonal closures and filming, some destination may be changed to an alternative 'Outlander' filming site.
