Once there, be amazed at one of the most important Mayan ruins enveloped by the jungle and built surrounded by lagoons. Your guide will tell you why Coba was a major urban center that held economic sway over the Yucatan Peninsula through complex routes and alliances. Learn about the ancient city’s monumental buildings, its amazing network of roads, its stellar and hieroglyphic texts - which are only some of the distinctive traits of this splendid Mayan city.

You'll also see the largest Mayan pyramid in the Yucatan region: the Nohoch Mul Pyramid which is 140 feet (42 meters) high. Then, visit the Church, the Mayan Ball Game and Ancient Mayan Paints.

After visiting Coba, you will enjoy a delicious lunch where you will be delighted with typical Mayan dishes.
