Then visit Ataco, the biggest and most pintoresque town in the Ruta de Flores, later we taste some of the local coffee. Then we walk in Juayua, another important town of the Ruta de las Flores. Tazumal was a ceremonial place in the Classical Mayan Period, several burials have been found inside the main pyramid. Some of the artifacts found can be seen in the museum onsite. The Ruta de las Flores is famous for its great quality coffee and amazing lush nature. Ataco features its famous murals and many shopping stores. We Pickup only in El Sunzal, El Tunco, San Salvador's San Benito Hotel area and Santa Tecla, in that order and drop off in the opposite order. Our pickup time is around 7am in El Sunzal and El Tunco, around 8am in San Salvador and Santa Tecla. We pickup and drop you off at your hotel. Tazumal is located 70kms away from San Salvador. We take around one hour to do the tour in the Mayan Ruins and the museum. Then we drive one hour to checkout Ataco, in the Ruta de las Flores. Ataco is famous for its murals and authentic lifestyle. We learn about coffee production and then we taste some of the local coffee, we will walk on the streets of Ataco to check out its murals, then we visit Juayua, the second most important town of the Ruta de las Flores, then we turn back to San Salvador to arrive around 16:30.Highlights
