This is a must, the small group tour will go through the highlights of Sintra, old town, Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, National Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Seteais Palace and Monserrate Palace. Then will continue through the vineyard region of Colares to Cabo da Roca, Cascais coastal road, Guincho, Boca do Inferno and ending in Cascais. We will be provided historical and local information, so you can learn about the places we will visit. The tour will take around 7 hours and it includes stops for 2 monuments, old town, Cabo da Roca, Boca do Inferno and Cascais. The tour is for small groups from 2 to 8 persons. We will pick-up in Sintra Train Station, at 10 am.
The first place to visit will be Sintra, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage, where we will discover the emblematic Pena Palace, the Moorish Castle, the National Palace, the Quinta da Regaleira, the Monserrate Palace, the breathtaking landscape and the romantic old town.
Then, traveling through the mountain and through the vineyard region of Colares, we head to the westernmost point of the European Continent, Cabo da Roca, with its 140 m height cliffs over the deep blue Atlantic Ocean.
Taking coastal road to Cascais, overlooking the sea, we will go through the amazing Guincho Beach, Boca do Inferno and reaching Cascais, the well known royal summer resort since end of 19th century.Highlights
