Glenturret Distillery – Famous Tasting Experience Trossachs Gin Distillery – Tour and Tasting Allanwater Brewery – Tour and Tasting Minibus transport (max 16 guests) Services of a professional tour guide

Scotland is currently experiencing a boom in Gin, Beer and Whisky production. This tour will take you on a journey through the production of these drinks with the chance to immerse yourself in the creation, distillation, and flavours at 3 locations.

The day starts by travelling into Stirlingshire, past the majestic Kelpies and Stirling Castle. Our first stop is Glenturret Distillery, founded in 1775, it is considered the oldest working distillery in Scotland, and home to the Famous Grouse brand.  Here you will get an immersive tour followed by a tasting of 5 whiskies from their range.

Leaving Crieff behind you will make your way toward Callander, sitting on the Highland Boundary Fault line, this popular town in seen as the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’.

Your next stop is the Trossachs Distillery on the outskirts of the town.  Overlooked by Ben Ledi, this craft distillery is the home of McQueen Gin.  Started in 2015 by husband and wife team Dale and Vicky, their gin is handcrafted with passion, honesty and integrity.  You will have a tour, learning about ‘little maggie’ followed by a tasting of their delicious gins.

You will then make your way towards Bridge of Allan and the Allanwater Brewery.  Started in 1996, this microbrewery makes all their interesting beers and ciders onsite.  During the tour, you will learn their brewing secrets, smell the hops and sample their available products.

After enjoying the fine beer and ciders of Allanwater Brewery you will make your way back towards Edinburgh, where your guide will recommend more watering holes for the rest of your stay now you have a taste for Scotland’s drinks!
